A big part of the preparation for cruising is learning about various tools, situations and solutions.  This is just a small selection of the materials we are reading, we also read a lot of blogs, subscribe to various informative nautical sites, and have a bunch of books on the boat as well.  Not pictured here but a big recommendation is the &#8220;Boatowner&#8217;s Mechanical and Electrical Manual&#8221; by Nigel Calder &#8211; it&#8217;s on Lulu.
